Celebrating young people who’ve overcome adversity or made a real difference in their community. An inspiring gala awards event that opens doors and changes lives.
✨ Purposeful Pathways
A 9-month journey for BYHA finalists and winners that includes mentoring, career support, confidence-building and a graduation to remember.
🍽️ Break Free
Our school holiday programme offers unforgettable experiences and free meals to children aged 8–13, helping tackle holiday hunger and boredom.
⚽ Bristol Together Championships
Using football to bring Year 5 pupils from different communities together to form friendships, break down barriers and promote inclusion across our city.
🌍 Bristol 2 Bordeaux
A life-changing trip abroad for 30 young Bristolians, giving them the chance to explore a new culture, build confidence and broaden their horizons.
🤝 Bristol Achieve
A peer mentoring programme that connects sixth formers with younger students, bridging divides and inspiring growth through shared experience.

Day 2 is underway 🚴🇫🇷
This morning, the Peaple Talent team set off for the next stage of their Bristol-to-Paris challenge, taking the ferry to France before cycling from Southampton to Évreux.
Another huge day, but the team are doing an incredible job raising vital funds for our Break Free programme 🩷

Tomorrow the @peaple_talent team begin their incredible Bristol-to-Paris cycle challenge 🚴🇫🇷
After months of training, planning and fundraising, they’ll be taking on over 430km across three days to raise money for our Break Free programme 🩷
Not only have they already smashed their original fundraising target, but every mile they ride will help support young people across Bristol with meals, activities and opportunities throughout the school holidays.

Last year, the team at Arthur David hosted a fantastic cooking workshop for some of our young people as part of the Potatoes With Purpose campaign 🩷🥔
Using Koffmann’s potatoes, the group learned new cooking skills while creating a delicious cottage pie together, building confidence, having fun and trying something new along the way. 🧑🍳✨
The Potatoes With Purpose campaign helps raise money and awareness for our Break Free programme, supporting young people across Bristol with activities, meals and opportunities during the school holidays.

On Tuesday night at our Bristol Young Heroes Awards Nominees Reception we were incredibly proud to welcome Louise back to the stage.💜
Louise, one of our 2025 Fundraising Hero winners, spoke so bravely in front of a room full of people, sharing her journey since last year’s awards and inspiring everyone in the room with her courage and confidence. 🌟
Louise has also been part of our Purposeful Pathways programme since last year’s awards, and it’s been amazing to see her continue to grow in confidence and take on opportunities like this.

It was a brilliant evening bringing together our 2026 finalists, giving them the chance to meet one another, connect with some of our investors and judges, learn more about the awards, and hear from previous finalists about their experiences.
The reception is such an important part of the journey, helping our finalists feel welcomed, supported and excited for what’s to come. We’re incredibly proud of every young person recognised this year and can’t wait to celebrate them on the big night.
