Drawing from dubstep, leftfield bass and techno, she weaves distinctive oriental rhythms and melodies into deeply immersive sonic journeys. Through her unique approach to sound and mixing, comm guides listeners into unfamiliar yet addictive spaces, places that feel just out of reach, yet impossible to leave. Her productions have been supported by artists across the globe, reflecting a growing international presence. In 2025, her mix was selected as RA Mix of the Day, further spotlighting her singular vision. She is also the founder of her own label, Synvision Sounds. Aum Recordings – New VA Release !! (Posts 2/2) On March 31, Aum Recordings will release a new VA compilation. This release is composed entirely of Japanese artists. For this project, we curated a group of wonderful artists who are expressing high-quality music from Japan to the world — through running their own labels, performing live, DJing, and organizing events. The selection moves beyond the boundaries of techno, bringing together diverse creative voices from the Japanese underground. Artists featured on the VA: Oto Chiemi, Herbalistek, Luta, Naco, COMM, and three members of Aum Recordings. Each artist’s unique sensibility and musical background is freely expressed from a leftfield perspective, resulting in emotionally rich and story-driven sounds.
