I had never actually seen one of these things, my dad didn’t even have one himself. He had told me about them once when I was a kid, but I never forgot it.
Fast forward to 2022 and I got a DM that gave me the chills. Thanks to the internet, someone who knew my dad from way back when just happened to still have this one kicking around. I offered to buy it and he refused, asking only for my shipping address. I was able to get it just in time for Father’s Day this year and when he saw it he was speechless. (For a few seconds) then naturally said “where the fuck did you get that.”
The look on his face when he saw it, combined with the fact that the old street racing and hot rodding stories I was told growing up, have shaped me into what I am today. I thought it was only right that we brought it back. For me, for my dad, and for the whole command family to have a piece of where it all began.

Getting this car running this weekend was bittersweet. It’s the car that made me say i have to have one. .
But its also one of those builds that has been lingering around for entirely too long, one delay after the next and multiple missed deadliness. .
The owner of this car has been supporting us since day 1 and through all the ups and downs, never gave up on us. Still having us building his GT-R and Evo in the mean time. Guys like this are hard to find and aren’t always recognized for their patience and loyalty. So this one is for you Cacho. Thank you for everything over the years.
