How I celebrated 10 years in business ...
I've committed one-fourth of my life to building @commacopywriters (10/40 years!) I planned for years to celebrate a decade of entrepreneurship n a big way and ✨Comma's Decade Gala ✨ was a DREAM. I will never forget the love and support in the room. I could barely contain my JOY.
Thank you to @megnificent_t for bringing the vision to life. Our theme? Once Upon a Story, with an emphasis on stories, chapters, and seeing your own possibilities. My kids were part of the program and I would relive this night a thousand times.
Thank you to @chiefgirlsgirl from @utwomenlead and Jeff Durham from @gimmebeauty for sharing such beautiful messages. And to @jaofutah for allowing us to be in your inspiring Biz Town.
When I think back over the decade of entrepreneurship, it's been so much work, hard-earned lessons, and expensive mistakes along the way. But also, so many moments of fulfillment and euphoric victory with my team. We've built the life-first way, and I'm really proud of that.
We grow through facing our fears and stretching our comfort bubbles. And in my presentation, I shared we all have future chapters ahead. We are each the authors of our own life story.
Building a business is not a solo sport. I was weepy for weeks leading up to this event, realizing how many hundreds of people have supported me and Comma Copywriters.
