Here's a little bit of the process behind the scenes printing a 4-color RISO print. We don't do a lot of super full-saturation, heavily inked flyers like this to put up on telephone poles and shop windows but this is a special event. The return of Comix Thing is really somethin' special for Portland!

Not included in the video: a dozen attempts at adjusting each color layer and making bunk stencils, hours of levels adjustments on the computer and color separation shenanigans, and a whole bunch of inky paper getting crumpled inside the machine over and over. Oh well, sometimes the process is a challenge but the outcome is always worth it! I mean heck, look at these flyers!
