✊ STEEL DUB GATHERING 2026 ✊
It gives us great and enormous pleasure to announce the day and night line up for the 2nd edition of Steel Dub Gathering, taking place at @dryad.works on Saturday 6th June!
We are blessed to be welcoming the legendary @entebbesoundsystem outta London for a full crew daytime sound system session in the courtyard. When we say legendary, we truly mean it - this will be a very special roots and dub session with a foundation crew that’s been established since 1978.
Following this into the nighttime, powered by @lewisbennettdub ’s Burning Bug sound system, we have a showcase of next generation dub artists. Headlined by the wicked @higher_meditati0n outta Leicester, @lionesspower_uk outta Leeds and some of Sheffields tuffest producers and selectas, the night session promises to be BIG and BAD!
To top things off, we’ll be dropping a tasty slice of @comitysoundsystem in the smokers and inviting special guests and friends to play revive and roots records all night long.
Without a doubt, this one is going to be a proper session - and a special time to give thanks and appreciation to dub reggae music and culture. We run this ting purely through love - strictly DIY and independently run for the community and scene 🙏
Any support you can give by spreading the word or buying a ticket early goes a long way and is appreciated massively. The more people get on board - the bigger and badder this thing will be.

What a pleasure it was to bring together the first edition of STEEL DUB GATHERING at Dryad Works on Saturday 💛
It was great to see such a wonderful collection of people enjoying dub and roots reggae music with such joy and respect. You could feel the connection to the music and vibes in the air; which is what this event was all about. A huge thank you to every single person who reached and bought a positive energy to the gathering.

Showcasing the new comity pre amp rig 💥 we’ve been patiently waiting for the right time to bring together comity sound system the way we really want to run it, and now is the time!
This Friday, we’ll be showcasing our new pre amp set up; featuring a new family member… ‘the tank’ mixer. We have no idea who built it, or when it was built, we just know it’s an absolute unit of vintage goodness that allows us to play exactly how we like to. A proper hi-fi sound in a rub-a-dub style!

We are sorry to say that this session will be postponed to a date later in the year. To be upfront, neither crews have given or are able to give the time and energy this session truly deserves and needs - so we would rather hold up our hands and find a better time than do this one half heartedly. A weekend of rest is needed for us.
