After six years of serving the community from our food cart and farmers markets, we’re excited to announce the next chapter of Comida KIN as part of Forage Grove Food Hall & Tap Room @forage.grove in historic downtown Forest Grove, a new gathering space built with our friends at Pelagic Brewing.
Join us Saturday, March 7th from 12–9pm for the Forage Grove Debut Celebration and experience the new concept for the first time.

Arrive anytime between 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM to socialize with fellow HFC owners and community members. Local farm-fresh food by Comida Kin, pizza by FG Amore, and beverages will be available for purchase. Comida Kin purchases locally grown food from ~20 local farms—farms that may soon be supplying our community-owned grocery store!
Starting at 6:30 PM, hear the latest exciting updates about the community-owned food co-op being built in downtown Hillsboro! Bring a neighbor, bring the family. A play corner for children in the same room as the meeting is available, but no childcare supervision will be offered. Owners of Hillsboro Food Co-op are encouraged to attend, but the event is open to any community member interested in the food co-op being built in Downtown Hillsboro.
Getting there: Free street parking is available and Trimet public transportation has a bus stop nearby.

Rodrigo had the honor of being a guest speaker at Free Orchards Elementary @foesfoxfarm classroom! What an amazing program run by passionate educators! Your kids are in good hands.
With a 2013 grant from the school district, other grants, and volunteers the garden space and barn were created. In 2022 there were 5 classes teaching year-round garden education. By the 2024-2025 school year there are 14 classes of gardening programs and 5 local high schools that offer internships to help with Fox farm. Fox farm's weekly lessons focus in getting students interested and active in food production! Thank you Mrs. Newton for hosting and sharing Fox farm's experiences. Mrs. Newton impressed by sharing her experience growing wheat, and milling it for students.to make pancakes!!!! Farm to tabling it up!
As a parting gift I received a real time drawing from a student and seeds from Fox farm seed library. We're so impressed!
