what a good way of kick starting the Year!
I want to say a very big "THANK YOU" to the brain behind Braid Up and Yes! my boss in the business of Hair braiding @heneh_ara for the opportunity to give back to humanity.
Braid Up is a new club that has been approved by the Lagos state Education District for months now. It currently runs in 4 secondary schools here in Lagos,Nigeria.
The goal of this initiative is to promote sustainable development.
Our mantra is solely based on ;
SDG 1 - No poverty
SDG 2 - Gender Equality
SDG 3 - Sustainable cities and communities
As well as contributing to education. The initiative consists of braiding workshops, environmental education and entrepreneurship training all offered at no cost to the student.
Is it too late to say a HAPPY NEW YEAR ? I don't think so!
