A retreat with an outdoor bath and homemade wood-fired pizzas with friends!
I love a good outdoor bath…there is something so special about it. You can just soak in the fleeting moment by taking in the fresh air, natural scenery, and the last rays of sunlight in the comfort and warmth of a bath.
We also had so much fun making our own pizzas and using the wood-fired pizzas oven. We have some progress to make but the pizzas tasted so good and the toppings seemed to hold onto their freshness and flavour more than when we use a regular oven 💫

A lovely river camping stay with everything we needed…Kayaks, a campfire, a friendly dog, lovely horses, and a lovely barn with fairy lights….we couldn’t ask for more! And had such a fun time!

We love exploring less travelled places…places where you still feel the tranquillity and all the quintessence of nature. Wandering around the shore with the only sounds of the water, winds and birds around us.
When I share pictures of those hidden gems, I am always hesitant to share where it was. In a way, I found it unfair and unfriendly to share something publicly and not tell people where they can have a similar experience. On another hand, Social media has played a significant role in the growth of tourism to particular areas, causing over-tourism. This is particularly the case for Instagram and its geolocation of pictures as people want to have the same Insta-worthy shot.
