Photographic Competition & Exhibition Open Call 📣 ‘Moments of... Reflection’ We are very excited to announce that we are working with @trackbrewingco on our second photographic competition and exhibition, responding to the theme of ‘Moments of… Reflection’. We will be exhibiting 5 photographic works from 5 photographers, which will be printed, mounted and framed in house by Come Through Lab. Images will be judged on their strength in response to the theme, we want to see a broad interpretation on the theme of Reflection, this can be a conceptual or literal interpretation. We all take time to reflect, either on ourselves or the wider world around us, on our practice, as well as on the subjects we decide to photograph and the subjects we decide to document. We would love to see a deep and meaningful portrayal of the theme, exploring the things that we reflect on as a wider community or personal moments of quiet reflection.  Competition entries will be shortlisted by Come Through Lab then judged by an incredible panel consisting of: Kat wood @_kwood___ Marcus Wheeler @marcuswindramwheeler Sam Eckersley @analogue_revival Hana Latif @hanalatif Shane Taylor @heroesforsale And the CTL team @comethroughlab   Submissions are now open via the link in bio until 23:59 Friday 15th May. The 5 selected works will be exhibited at the Moments of... Reflection Exhibition at the Track Taproom. The overall winner will be announced at the Exhibition opening evening at the Track Taproom, Thursday 28th May. All submitted works will be presented in a projected slideshow at the exhibition and printed 6’’x4’’ for display on the tables at the Taproom on the night of the opening event. We encourage photographers to find their prints, talk about and discuss their work, and even swap prints if they are comfortable doing so. We hope this will showcase a great overview of all the submitted work.  This definitely won’t be one to miss and we cannot wait to see everyone’s submissions.

Thursday Feature #19 Name: Sam Binstead Instagram: @sambinsteadphoto Camera: Mamiya RB67 Lens: 90mm f3.5 K/L Film: Kodak Portra 400 Lab Details Process: C41 Scanner: CCD flatbed scan Darkroom: Hand print on Fuji Crystal Archive For our 5th year we want to shout about our amazing clients in every way we can, so from now until the end of the year we will be featuring a photographer or artist each Thursday. As part of this we will be producing a 10x8 print of each featured image with the plan to exhibit all of the images in an exhibition at the beginning of next year. We are so privileged to work with such a broad range of photographers and artists who all have such a diverse range of practices and approaches to using the lab - we want to be able to reflect this on our platform and spend this year building an even stronger community.

SILVER SERVICE EP 001: WINSOME We swung by @winsome_mcr last Friday to drop off a film camera provided by @comethroughlab to take pics of their service over the weekend, here are the results! This time the film stock used was Kodak 200 gold, which offers warm, nostalgic tones. The team seemed to have an awful lot of fun with this, tune in next time for a new location and a new film stock. #eatmcr

If you can’t handle me at my V30, you don’t deserve me at my V50 🌹 We have always had a commitment to investing back into the lab so that we can maintain and uphold our turnarounds, whilst still maintain the highest standards, so welcome our new V50 which should help us essentially double our current daily processing capacity and get us feeling summer ready! Also big up the CTL lab legends for carrying this absolute unit down the stairs 💪 @tarekslater on the Nikon L35af Big love CTL

For those who missed it (or those still in bed) here’s @c.woolcombe on @bbcbreakfast yesterday talking about film photography. We are so thankful to all of our amazing clients, it’s a wonderful thing that we are able to do this in 2026, seeing film photography go from strength to strength over the past 5 years has been incredible, long may it continue! 💚
