[1] Take a closer look at the growing ​🇻​​🇴​​🇷​​🇴​​🇳​​🇴​​🇮​logo of Valleponci [2] Voronoi diagrams appear in different places in nature where growth takes place from individual points. For example, in plants or on the surface of animals, such as the fur pattern of giraffes. A very clear example of a Voronoi diagram in nature is shown by a halved garlic. 🧄 [3] A Voronoi diagram divides a surface into different regions. Points or centres distributed on the surface generate the regions through radial growth and define the area closest to a centre. The regions are separated from each other by boundaries. [4] This principle serves as a visual metaphor for the organic and lively nature of Valleponci. The starting points show a sowing of typographic seeds within the format and grow into the letters of the wordmark. [5] The radial growth generates the boundary lines according to the mathematical rules of a Voronoi diagram and results in the final form of the variable logo. [6] The procedure can be repeated and always adapts to the given area and the random distribution of the centres.
