Not every woman walks into a martial arts space feeling safe.
Some arrive carrying past experiences, some have been made to feel small, and some may have seen how power can be abused, even within sport.
Thatās why spaces like this matter so much š«¶
50+ women came together in Phuket for our BJJ event with Combat Collective x Womenās Grappling Thailand @womensgrapplingthailand to train in an environment built on respect, encouragement and community.
Every woman on those mats has her own story⦠some came to learn something new, some came to rebuild confidence, some came simply to be in a room where they felt comfortable.
We need more spaces where women are looked after, listened to and empowered. We need more women taking up space, backing each other and speaking up when something feels wrong.
This is how the culture changes!
