After eight incredible years, Comal Heritage Food Incubator is closing its doors—but the impact of this community will live on. Comal was never just a restaurant. It was a place where cultures were shared, skills were honed, and dreams were built. It was a space where immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs found their voices, their confidence, and their path forward.
To our participants—past and present—you are the heart of everything we’ve done. Your talent, resilience, and passion have made Comal what it is, and we are endlessly proud of all you have accomplished and will continue to achieve.
To our staff, partners, and supporters—thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for showing up, for sharing meals, for spreading the word, and for making Comal a home.
And to our Denver community—thank you for embracing us. For every lunch shared, every conversation had, every story told. You helped make this journey so much more than we ever imagined.
This may be the end of Comal as a space, but its legacy lives on in the businesses launched, the friendships formed, and the lives changed. We hope you continue to support the incredible entrepreneurs who have come through these doors, and we know this community will keep finding ways to uplift and empower one another.

This is it—our final week at Comal. 💛 We’re feeling all the emotions as we prepare to say goodbye, but more than anything, we’re grateful. Grateful for the incredible community that has supported us, the meals we’ve shared, and the cultures we’ve celebrated together.
If you’ve ever loved a meal at Comal, now is the time to come back for one last bite. This week’s menu is packed with favorites, from tacos—carnitas, carne asada, catfish, calabacitas, and mushroom—to sandwiches like “The Works” Burger, Portobello, and Maple Jalapeño Grilled Chicken. We’re also serving Birria, Beef Masala, and Garlic Butter Shrimp. And don’t miss your final chance to get “The Frankie” Indian-style burrito this Thursday!
We’re open Tuesday through Friday, 11 AM - 2 PM. Come celebrate this last chapter with us. We can’t wait to see you.
With full hearts, we share the bittersweet news that after eight incredible years of love, flavor, and resilience, Comal Heritage Food Incubator will serve its final lunch on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Comal has been more than a restaurant. It’s been a home—a place where stories were shared through food, where immigrants and refugees found empowerment, and where Denver’s community came together to celebrate the rich diversity that makes us whole.
This decision was not an easy one, but we are so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. From the first meal served by our founding group of community members, to the incredible businesses that have grown from Comal, we’ve seen lives transformed and dreams realized.
We want to invite you to be part of this final chapter. Come visit us, savor the dishes that have made Comal a treasure, and celebrate the memories we’ve created together.
