This year’s lukewarm art season reminded me of last year, watching Salik prepare for his show and working with him on the display and space. It was one of my favourite shows of 2023.
I wish I saw similar works this time around when we really need to be talking about these distorted narratives employed to justify anything ranging from neglect to straight up genocide.
