If each one could reach one then each one would teach one, what a much more beautiful nation Nigeria will be. Project #FeedDustbinEstate came to fruition! Once a tiny flicker of thought exploding into a fully formed impact project and more. For the record; Project #FeedDustbinEstate was inspired by the constant complaints of tweeps on Twitter about the inflation rate hampering access to their daily bread…the question that plagued me was “if people who had access to the internet could tell their stories how much more people who didn’t?” This question birthed the #feeddustbinestate project that held on the 5th of June, 2021. ________________________ As I look back, I’m thankful for this journey that would forever leave an impact on this community. Even more thankful for y’all who gave towards the success of this project without which it wouldn’t have seen the light of day. ______________________ In the spirit of Democracy Day...even though there’s nothing to smile about the state of our country, I hope you recognize somewhere down there that there’s hope. Hope to see that there is light despite all of the darkness and of all things to give up...hope shouldn’t be one of them.

You won’t believe how sturdy these shells are on this piece of wood. We used a combination of hot glue and super glue to gum the shells on the board and on each other. What types of shells can you see on this board?
