Long weekend means one thing; we are back throwing a party.
Following guests, excursions and two room events we get back to residents, a tight floor and an open roof (fingers crossed).
Sunday 31 May we head back to AYE for a residents get down with musical selections from 4 till late.

With a bit of a break to our next get together and real life taking over for a month or two this will be the last Sunday Times till later in the summer, so lets make it a good one.

It’s party time.
We return to the Savoy for our next outing and it’s a party we are very excited about.
Joining us on the main floor is Sinéad. A San Francisco native of Irish/Iranian heritage, Sinéad brings selections of 2000s tech and deep house with a rich knowledge and collection of 90s UK rhythms. Coming from a residency at New York’s incredible Public Records, sets at Fabric and Djoon and a selection of European Summer festivals, we are excited to bring her to Cork.
We are just as excited to say the lounge will host Ar Ais Arís, the Galway based DIY electronic music night. Running parties the right way, they focus on small, safe and inclusive spaces and in between have also found time to launch a label which platforms Irish club music. Flying the AAA flag at Sunday Times are resident DJs Rob Rua and Hannah Hession, joined by guest, friend and legend, Cormac Geragthy.
Our poster image this month comes from the supremely talented @an_na_mar who has captured the change in seasons to perfection - the starlings are back and the hawthorn is budding. Feels like change. We made it through folks ☀️

Easter Sunday funday. After an excursion across town we return home and have invited a friend.
This month the residents are joined by @charlotte_wm_ . As someone who has been trippin’ around to festivals and clubs across the country with her unique sound these last few years, she now thankfully makes the shortest trip from the Sunday Times dancefloor to the booth on Sunday the 5th. Playing across the board we are excited to welcome her to the party.
This month our poster image comes from the talented @conalhanamy . Combining photos, digital and handrawn elements, Conal has brought together a piece that reflects on the importance of coming together for joy and kindness in a time where there is too much of the opposite. We love it and are sure you will too.

Sunday Times on Saturday you say? Well, special times call for special arrangements. We shift the party for one time only into the recently re-opened Savoy with the good folk from the Good Room…and have two rooms of dancing for you.
The Sunday Times residents will take charge of the main room with our good friend from over the county bounds, @mrdonaldineen travelling across all sorts of borders in the lounge with his global selections.
With St. Patricks day falling midweek, this year’s party shifts to Saturday but the same principle applies…see you on the floor(s)?

Founder of queer club night @milk.cork , top DJ and all-round talented individual, we are delighted to have Dave come on board. His monthly mixes on Éist Radio always excite and he has also recently been capturing club nights from the floor. Speaking of visuals…
You might see a little change to our own visuals…for 2026 we are happy to be working with a few different designers, artists and illustrators – party regulars, day one supporters, and people whose work we are fans of. This month we start with our long-term collaborator Jack Collins and hope to do something exciting with our contributors at the end of the year.

First Sunday Times party of 2026 is looming and landing on the February Bank Holiday weekend – Sunday 1st.
We are bringing along a guest who we have been a fan of for quite a while…details soon!
It has been a great run of gigs this last while to round out 2025…..
Recently, I had a truly enjoyable night in Limerick with @hlymrekr__ .
Most recently, (aka I’m just recovered) from a most memorable b3b with @nevanjio in @dalicork for @carmina_corcc .
I even got to play some records in the @abbeytheatredublin for @thisisiny .
And all this before even mentioning the amazing @sundaytimescork parties we’ve had this year. 🙌🏻❤️
It’s these shows that make me feel so privileged to still be doing this so many years on.
Now, most importantly, it’s time to kick back with Bairbre, Joni, Joel, and Titou for some family time x
