I’ve been trying a lot of new skincare lately as we think through what
@bedrock.nyc will use and eventually offer. And yes, it’s color-coordinated. That part is half practical, half me.
What’s in here is a mix of longtime staples and newer things I’m stress-testing in real life through workouts, steam, cold plunges, travel, days when sleep is optional.
Right now, I keep coming back to
@augustinusbader when my skin needs to calm down and reset,
@vennskincare for formulas that feel smart and intentional without being fussy,
@tower28beauty when my barrier is asking for help,
@sofiepavittface for keeping things balanced and predictable, and
@rhode for everyday hydration that just does its job.
@lenoxandsixteenth has been a standout in a different way—very thoughtful, very clinical, but still elegant. Results-driven, but calm.
@mansard_france is here for similar reasons: understated, beautifully made, and easy to live with.
I’m not a maximalist with skincare. Barrier first, actives carefully, SPF always.
As Bedrock comes alive, (which if you don’t know is
@moss.nyc aquatics and athletics floors) this is the same thinking we’re applying there. These are the types of products we’re using in the space and shaping into our retail shop edit. Things that hold up around movement, heat, water, and actual use…not just a bathroom shelf.
This is just my cabinet rn. It will change as
@hailsrbrbrb and
@jazz_dw and
@juliewandz and
@victoriajelert keep building out our relationships w the founders of incredible brands. The color coordination of my home supply probably won’t.
