Here are two nice entries into reverse closed guard from my second fight at @collisioninvitational a couple of months ago.
In the first one, I’m attacking the upper body as a distraction to get to the legs. Since he kept a solid base, I used my legs underneath his armpits to secure the position.
In the second one, I’m going for a false reap entry. As he attempts a knee cut, I throw my leg across his hip and instantly lock my legs together.
I think this position gives a huge advantage because it offers a lot of leg lock attacks while also making it very difficult for your opponent to attack back.
