We are throwing a party to save Project Onward! The most wonderful foundation running out of Bridgeport Arts Center, which holds residence to over 60 visionary artists with disabilities. Not only giving them studio space to work, but also a marketplace to support themselves through their art. Pretty rad stuff!
This year they were severely underfunded and are at risk of closing their doors! We cannot let that happen. So we’re helping the only way we know how: throwing a super HUGE party for the community!

In honor of the warm weather in Chicago, we’re throwing it back to some sunny months ago when @ericlubamusic and @collindrums treated us to a duo take on the Stevie Wonder classic “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life”
Eric is playing a custom 1975 Rhodes 88 Satellite set done up in baby blue with a mint sparkle top, and boy do we miss this combination! Topped with a Moog model D (and incredible left hand playing), what more could you ask for?

Had such an amazing week with @willllturner and @collindrums tracking drums and percussion for a bunch of new @theheavyheavy songs. I loved learning about Will’s approach to writing and recording and these new tunes are really cool. Collin’s sensibilities and drumming were a great fit for the music and there wasn’t an hour that went by where I didn’t look through the control room glass and see him back there behind the kit smiling as he was laying down a take. Great vibes all around… a really special week. Thank you guys. The only thing missing was @geegeethemayqueen Maybe we can get her in next time! Can’t wait to share this music with you one day. Big thanks to @thebyrdagency ❤️
Hello out there!
A little update from camp Collin 🏕️
For the past 7 years (pandemic aside) I have been traveling, playing music with my brothers in Neal Francis. We’ve grown so much, ridden the waves of the road, and if I’m being honest are playing the best music we ever have as of late. Feels great.
This year we’re still getting out there and playing shows, maybe less, but better! With more of a focus in the studio, leaving a lot of time for extracurriculars in Chicago 😊
I’ve been feeling so inspired to create more here. Currently working on booking more gigs and such. Got a few coming up. I’ve been beefing up my record collection and spinning vinyl a lot too, which has also been a nice outlet.
I think right now, more than ever, we need to feel a strong sense of community. We need to be there for each other, we need to let loose, harbor expression.
This machine kills fascists.
So yeah if you want to create, record, gig, throw a party, hang out, or jump in the lake, holler at me. I got time for the first time in half a decade!
