Hands-on training is helping prepare the next generation of aviation mechanics right here in Collier County. ✈️
The Collier Community Foundation was proud to support the aviation mechanics program at @lorenzowalkertechnicalcollege through the donation of a helicopter, King Air aircraft, and turbine engines—giving students real-world experience with the equipment they’ll encounter in the workforce.
As highlighted in this recent article, expert instructors and industry-focused training are helping students launch high-demand careers while strengthening Southwest Florida’s aviation workforce.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the women who shape our community in ways both seen and unseen.
Mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers are often the quiet force behind stronger families, brighter futures, and more resilient communities. Their love, guidance, and sacrifice ripple far beyond a single home—they help build the Collier County we all share.
Today, and every day, we celebrate their lasting impact.
Happy Mother’s Day.
Collier Community Foundation was proud to join local leaders at Wake Up Naples, hosted by the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, for an important conversation on housing affordability.
Housing remains one of the most pressing challenges in our community—and a continued focus of our work. Lindsey Touchette, Vice President of Community Engagement, helped lead the conversation, highlighting the innovative solutions and strong partnerships needed to move meaningful progress forward.
At CCF, we’re committed to advancing housing solutions that create lasting stability for individuals and families across Collier County.

From Collier County to the Caribbean 🌎
Our partnership with @naplesbotanical on the Beach Dune Restoration Project is making waves far beyond Southwest Florida. This week, the work was presented at the 2026 Botanical Bridges Congress in the Dominican Republic—reaching more than 200 conservation leaders from 32 countries facing real coastal resilience challenges.
What started here at home is now being shared as a model to help protect shorelines, reduce storm impact, and strengthen communities across the Caribbean.
This is what impact looks like: local solutions with global reach.
We’re proud to support innovative, nature-based approaches that not only restore our environment—but help communities prepare for what’s ahead.

🌎 Earth Day in action at @corkscrewswamp
Today, members of the Collier Community Foundation team experienced “wild Florida” firsthand during a backcountry swamp buggy tour with Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary—alongside local environmental partners and supporters.
As one of our 2025 Celebration of Philanthropy surprise grant recipients, Audubon continues to lead the way in conservation and education. Home to the largest old-growth bald cypress forest in North America, this living laboratory protects endangered wildlife, restores critical wetlands, and inspires thousands each year to connect with the natural world around us.
From alligator sightings to flocks of wading birds taking flight, today was a powerful reminder: protecting places like Corkscrew means protecting the future of our community.
We’re proud to support partners who are preserving Southwest Florida’s natural resources—today and for generations to come.
