4 year old me would be so proud of this journey.
4 year old me knew this was the only thing in the world that lit me up. The only thing to get me out of bed. The only thing to constantly spark my imagination.
I was the daydreamer in school. The kid who didn’t do his classwork because I was too busy living in my imagination. Too busy imagining worlds, imagining doing what I am doing now.
Creating projects out of my mind. Stories. Worlds. And performing every single night.
Some days are easier than others, but the drive and the discipline are only compounding and deepening, getting closer and closer to truth at every mic, show, script, pilot, or word spoken or written.
4 year old me would say you’re kicking ass. Keep fucking going, you badass bitch. That’s what 4 year old me would say.
And 4 year old me would say that to every single person reading this. Fist bumping people out in the world deciding for themselves that living fully in your power and your truth and following the whisper inside saying you are meant for bigger.
4 year old me would say you fucking rock. Do whatever you can to find that next gear shift up.
Because one day you wake up and realize you didn’t betray that kid. You listened. And that changes everything.
We live many lives....but this one is happening now. Grateful for every stage, every room, every chance to step into it.
