So… THIS happened last night!
During his appearance on @jimmykimmellive last night @hwinkler4real showed a clip of his new show Hazardous History, and I was in it! Also featuring my pal Austin Rogers @augra27
So excited to be a part of this storytelling team and beyond joyful to be helping make Henry’s show as robust and illuminating as it can be. How I ended up on a show with the Fonz, I’ll never stop being grateful for or excited about!!
This show is going to be a load of fun (with some unfortunate historical misadventures peppered in) — I hope you’ll tune in!
Hazardous History premieres June 15th, Sunday nights at 10pm/9c - only on @History

Sharing my new corporate speaking reel, which includes a short snippet of my television work.
Currently building out and booking my 2026 schedule, but if there’s any need for a speaker on the back half of 2025, reach out and let’s see what we can make happen!
The @mcdonalds McRib sandwich is back!
Yeah, I didn’t believe its retirement was permanent, either. 😄. Like an erstwhile Tom Brady, it’s out-of-retirement. But like the olden days of the McRib regional drops, it’s only showing up in select locations.
So once again we can turn to my friend Alan, creator of to help you sort out if a location near you may have them.😎 That, or just head to your local McD’s to ask.
To celebrate, here’s a clip from my 2017 Cooking channel show, Food Flashback!

The 2026 Sweets and Snacks Expo kicks off tomorrow, and while my shooting schedule precludes my attendance this year, I will be there in spirit and I wanted to wish all the attendees (of which so many are friends) a fabulous show!
Our world is more virtual and digital than ever but an in-person trade show, while not strictly productive, is a priceless and vital gathering.
When I speak at trade shows, I’ll often convey a version of this idea: “Today, you may meet someone out there or have a conversation and learn something that will completely change your career/business in ways you couldn’t possibly imagine.” And I know that’s true. These trade shows are huge investments but also huge opportunities.
SSE is exhausting and exhilarating and oh so wonderful!!
To mark the occasion from afar, here’s an early 1980s themed throwback photo of snacking zen.
Did you partake of any/all of these back in the day?

Here’s an unexpected (but delightful) milestone for a brand to celebrate: the 100th Anniversary of Route 66!!
I could talk a LOT about how profound Route 66 was to America through advertising/marketing, western migration, pop culture and more. For now I just want to acknowledge that it’s great to see it getting its day in the celebratory sun!
I’ve noted that each of these packages marks a different region on the route, with New Mexico, Arizona and Santa Monica represented these three. But there’s undoubtedly more!
Gotta collect em all! 😄

Found at Five Below! New @Warheads Sour Clouds peach!
Sour Clouds describes itself as “Swedish-style foam gummies”!
Curious if these will reflect a longterm trend…
Haribo’s Goldbears Sour iteration has gotten a packaging refresh!
It’s subtle but the biggest change seems to be the removal of the “sweet and sour” callout.
I wonder if that previous callout was blurring the message of this one somehow? That callout has been replaced by a more flavor-definitive one that reads “The original but sour”.
I would like to note, I noticed this redesign out of the corner of my eye from a dozen feet away. It was the blue coloring of the “Sour” from the front of pack. It registered as off to me, or different. It’s funny how when you look at packaging every day, and think about it much of the time, how your subconscious brain registers something before you cognitively recognize it. 😀

Back in the early 1980s, Black Forest gummy candy was a decidedly more imported fare. That’s because, as hard as it is to believe now, gummies weren’t really a “thing” here in the USA. They were a European product made for European audiences.
We’d finally start to catch on in the late 1980s when the category exploded here, led by the provocative“gross out” factor of gummy worms.
The packaging for Black Forest at the time reflected that euro vibe and here’s a fun example from the archives that showcases it!

Yesterday I met my good pal @goodwin4theworld for lunch in Hell’s Kitchen and he suggested @lovelysoldfashioned - a famous burger joint I somehow had never been to. Robert and I had our typically top notch conversations and considerations on life/career/love. Always grateful for the opportunity.
But holy wow that was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had!! I ordered the “Charlotte’s Special” and it was beyond next level delicious. As were the unusually-cut fries and crispy onion rings!
I also met a fan of “The Food that Built America” who recognized me there - one Corey Taylor, the charismatic Brooklyn-born founder of New York’s own “Food on Foot Tours”!
Gotta love the endless bounty that is New York City!!! 🥰
Apparently yesterday was the 90th birthday of the man known as “Wavy Gravy”.
I wrote about him and the ice cream flavor he inspired a few years back. Guess today is a good day to re-post. @benandjerrys #wavygravy
Coming back from a History shoot earlier this week, I had the opportunity to film one of my favorite cinema locations (from Highlander). It’s the rooftop of the Silvercup building (now Silvercup Studios but long ago a bakery company).
Though the final fight scene of the 1986 Highlander film takes place on the roof of the Silvercup building in Long Island City Queens, it was not an actual location shoot - the rooftop and signage was recreated in a soundstage.
Would love to get onto the rooftop at some point down the road. Do I have any pals at Silvercup that can make it happen?? 🤔

These are so good!
I’ll admit, not everyone loves birthday cake flavoring in products as much as I do, but for me, it’s a top five. Blend that with the crave-worthy magic of @PebblesCereal and it’s a must.
Thanks to the team at @post_cereals for sending me out a sample of this birthday box. Speaking of which, this limited edition release is meant to mark the FIFTY-FIFTH birthday of Pebbles cereal!!
