As part of Fashion Revolution Week @fashionrevolutionaustralia - one of the worldās largest fashion activism movements - Fashion & Sustainability Coordinator Tamara Leacock @pigmentpedagogy hosted a Healing Stitch Workshop, inviting students and staff to repair their old clothes through slow stitching, decorative mending and visible repair techniques. These approaches transform worn garments into unique, expressive pieces.
We were also lucky to welcome two fashion alumni, Callum Amor @amend.amor and Chinglaing Heng @reawakenlabel , who demonstrated their techniques and shared their knowledge in the art of repairing and reimagining clothing.

Meet 2D Animation student Liam @liam_219 , this weekās spotlight āØ
āCollarts has pushed me to a professional level and helped me explore different avenues of art and the industry as a whole. I wouldnāt be where I am now without it.ā
Inspired by animators @rebeccasugar and Steven Sugar, Liamās work explores emotional depth while pushing into more abstract, experimental territory. At Collarts, heās taken that passion to the next level, refining his skills across character design, backgrounds, and animation, all while learning from industry professionals.
