2018: brought cookies to @internetfamous house for new year’s eve. irish exit. i woke up early in LA in the tiniest room at the chateau. i went for a run. i went to arizona, got some pieces of glass stuck in my neck in the back of @helldriver1973 truck. went back to LA, got vegan milkshakes w @elmselms YEET!, went to NYC, bought a rug, went to santa ana, ca. went to LA, saw a car crash, went to johnny depp’s house but left before he took out the edward scissorhand gloves 💔, went back to NYC. realized i left my favorite jacket in santa ana, called the hotel. they said they’d hold it. found a leak in my brooklyn ceiling. called landlord. went back to LA. wrote. went back to NYC. landlord never fixed the ceiling. quit my job. didn’t want a new job. hopped in a tourbus. bus broke down in wytheville, va we had to walk in the snow to the closest hotel. got a new bus to denver to san francisco to LA. called hotel about my jacket, they said it had been “purged”. went to the white sands desert then austin then back to LA to detroit to philly to vermont to maine to boston to brooklyn. ceiling still not fixed. a girl asked me to punch her in the face... i said no. went to provincetown, ma, saw a ship crashed into a jetty. came up with potential captions like “pier pressure” but none were good enough so i never posted it. got my dual citizenship and EU passport. thought i’d move there. then i bought a bike and did 2 of the biggest things i’ve ever done. went to alaska. went into the woods. almost died with @scottcampbell@mrmaxsnow@rdsparks ...blood moon. then rode my bike from NYC to LA. almost died. saw a tarantula. became a home owner. watched my friends play with nirvana. went back to NYC. ceiling still not fixed. went back to cape cod. went back to alaska. went back to NYC. learned how to play the ukulele. fixed the ceiling myself. took the Roosevelt Island tram for the first time. went to some museums. started doing pull ups. in summation,this all sounds pretty ok. but i was definitely losing my mind for most of it. i think i’ll move somewhere new. back to work. #weirdyear 🏁
grabbed some rocks on the side of a lake. walked on to the ice and threw a rock every 20 feet or so, to see if it would break through. made it to the middle. didn’t die. i never had a bucket list, but i still would like to someday see the northern lights and also get struck by lightning.

road kill diary: 5 armadillos, 3 raccoons, 1 coyote, 1 owl (maybe a hawk) 2 snakes, 2 turtles, 1 mouse. also 1 disgusting, hard, crunchy, flapping grasshopper/cricket/butterfly/locust type insect jumped/flew IN TO MY FACE/ MOUTH. i screamed. i don’t know if it’s dead though.
crossed the mississippi river. finally feels like i’m on the other side/west of something.. may this side of the river have less snakes and bears and dipshit-religious-trump-psychos that pull me over to talk about the bible then hiss at me. less bike-chasing dogs. less headwind. less heat. more downhill. more water. also: i learned a new word. welsh in origin. hiareth; translates loosely to, a homesickness for a home that you’ve never been to, or never was. also we all may be under appreciating peanut butter and jelly. it’s a good sandwich.
so i started this a while ago, but didn’t say anything because i wasn’t sure how far i’d get... but i got a bike and decided to ride from NYC to LA.. so far, it’s more intense than anticipated, but fuck it. made it to Nashville and now have to pick a route to the west coast. dear internet, please advise. brutal mountains and cold in the north OR flat and brutal heat in the south? 🚲 (see maps in slide 4)
@travisscott - years and years ago i was at a tribe called quest concert and i saw this kid with braids going absolutely batshit crazy in the crowd. headbanging, jumping around and very randomly pulling out an old-school disposable clicky camera with a flash. it was so weird and awesome. i took a video of him w my phone and went backstage and was watching it over and over. it was pure unbridled enthusiasm. and i was in love with how much this random person loved music. it caught me pretty off guard when this dude comes in the green room while i’m watching the video of him.. but after 2 min of talking, it all of a sudden didn’t seem very random anymore. #astroworld ☝️ps. i have a million photos of rad folks that never see the light of day because i’m a hermit and i don’t like people or attention or social media or sharing. but if i don’t put them somewhere, i should just throw em away... and i’m trying to not do that anymore. #polaroid

collie’s first glacier! 💦... went to alaska w these fools and almost died 1000 times. treacherous ass cliffs, crossing rivers, a near drowning, hypothermia and running out of water. then we climbed shit no one’s ever climbed before! and then did solar powered tattoos. i think this is the best thing i’ve ever done. now i’m all happy and giddy and warm and dumb, so i’m gonna try to finish a NY to LA bike ride 🚲. thank you. i love you. #dontdie #alaska
