Had the privilege of shooting experts only festival last weekend, and it was such an honor to work alongside so many legends
I owe a massive thank you to @johnsummit and his team for having me, as well as @sadiebeatriz and @kellybramson for not yelling at me for my inconsistent drop times lol
It was my first time shooting for a festival, and it couldn’t have been a better time
I turned 23 today, which also marks around a year since I started working in music full time, so forgive me but I’m gonna get a lil sentimental
I absolutely adore what I do, but the past year has felt like I’ve just been falling in the right direction, trying to figure everything out as I go. As I’ve learned more, I’ve realized how much I don’t know, which is exciting, but really daunting lol
I’ve had a lot of self doubt the last year, questioning if I have a place in this industry, especially when I’m editing at 5am rethinking every decision I’ve ever made. But recently I feel like I’ve started to find my stride, and I can’t even take any credit for it because I’m so so so lucky to have so many unbelievably kind, talented and generous people around me to learn from.
The people I’ve met working in music is truly what keeps me going, and I can’t thank you all enough. We keep going no matter what 🫡
It feels unreal to write this, but I’m so happy to say that I’ll be able to continue working my dream job after college
All of this wouldn’t be possible without @domdolla and his team for bringing me along and being so welcoming. Getting to do what I love with such great people is something I would’ve never imagined
