Let me take a moment to reintroduce myself. Hi. It’s me. It’s Nicole. Not your average run of the mill stylist, or person for that matter. I’m a ball of ADHD mixed with creativity, a splash of anxiety, a whole lot of energy, forgetfulness, compassion, a big ol heart and a whole lot of nonsense at times. I do hair, I do permanent makeup, I’m an artist, I make jewelry. I have 3 dogs. Work my ass off and travel. I polish up nice at weddings and funerals. Believe it or not I’m shy. (I know a lot of you laughed at that, but it’s true) I don’t drink on work or school nights. I party. I play. I love life and live it. I work to enjoy my life. I almost died in June. Ask me about it, I don’t fit the norm or what I would call normal anyhow. I’m not a cool kid. I’m a weirdo. A misfit. The underdog. I’m a 6 figure stylist. Yes, you read that right. I’m also paycheck to paycheck. I’m real. I’m loud. I have strong beliefs. Im passionate about what I do and who I am. I’m working on my obituary. I’m me. But most of all. I love sharing experiences and laughter, heart aches and crying. I love meeting you. I love empowering you all with confidence you may not have walked into the salon door with. For those that don’t know, I want to state that my chair is a safe place for all. And I want to THANK all current and former clients for giving me a chance to grow as a stylist and as a person. I want to take this time, Before the holiday to tell you how much I appreciate you all. I have been molded by my experiences and the people I have met. Good and bad. I have learned to be authentic. Honest, and honorable. I am human. I will continue to learn. I give thanks to the people and experiences I’ve had. Gratitude for the life I’m blessed to live, and love to all those who have a chapter written in my book. I love you guys. You know I’m not afraid of that “L” word. I’m a horrible texter. (I’ve proof read this ramble 30 times) I talk a lot and I struggle with consistency. I have lots of story’s. Lots of experience. Good and bad. I am thankful and fortunate to be here. Tennessee National Speedway is a 1/3 mile, oval, clay track tucked into Hohenwald and is one of the reasons this event so rad. Others reasons are of course the people. There’s just something about that dirt, the setting, and the whole energy around it that makes it one of my favorite events every time.
If you’re making spring and summer plans, Nashville Sons of Speed + American Flat Track on June 5th & 6th needs to be on your list. Killer racing, killer people, and it’s CMA weekend in Nashville, so the whole city is gonna be crackin.
Make the trip. You won’t regret it.
