I’ve never been a cardio person… the only kind I ever loved was dance. Otherwise, you will find me at Yoga, Yin specifically.
This all started because @eleebaa mentioned a Deepavali promo at BFT. 😂
Nigel and I went, and somehow…
we’ve been hooked since our first class on 18 Nov 2025.
We signed up for April’s Hyrox mixed relay as a way to keep ourselves going.
Went in with a goal of 1h 30min… and we did it in 1:27:26 🥹
FIRST HYROX DOWN. And so lucky to experience the night race!

A reminder that restoration isn’t failure — it’s renewal.
2025 felt like a year of deep restoration:
meaningful connections, dreams slowly unfolding, unexpected opportunities and blessings.

(And a small win: my nosebleeds that began in Feb finally stopped in Nov, after I learned to sneeze without pressing my nostrils together. Took me 35 years to figure that out 😅)
Where Billie meets Pop.
Billie, a rescue turned family.
“Pop” is Dan McQueen, a lowbrow artist turned baker.
Designed as part of my Shillington portfolio — I crafted the name, voice, and packaging system for Dan’s organic, Melbourne-made dog treats.
All to celebrate real food, silly joy, and the dogs who deserve better. ✨🤘🏻
Inspired by the story and heart behind it, I intentionally steered away from anything that directly screams “dog”, instead, I wanted something cheerful and fun.
You know, the kind of name where you’d say:
“Wanna go grab a bag of Billie Pop??”

Spotted 2 specks of yellow raincoats on a tiny boat in the middle of a rainy sea from my home.

Swipe to the end for the iPhone video—, that’s what the sea actually looked like 🙈 it’s not a b&w video btw! It was thaaaat gloomy.
Quickly grabbed my camera to shoot it in raw — colour manipulate the sea into blue and load it with grains — had it in my mind to make the photo feel a little more like a painting…ish
All this, first thing in the morning.
I’m surprised at myself too.
