This album was made to be on vinyl and itâs finally here! And not just because of its 60âs and 70âs funk and soul vibes either.
One of the main premises of the record is that true blessedness comes when we are willing to look foolish to the world around us. Part of that for me is tech minimalism (Iâm still working on it), but Iâve realized how many precious moments Iâve missed out on with God, with family and friends because Iâm so distracted by my phone.
I pray that this little vinyl record would help with that in some way. That we could get back to listening to music for just the beauty of it and not just for background noise. That we would put down our phones and just be with each other. That we might even begin to pray and fast for the things of God. That we could all become a little more like the last few lines of this record:
âThe wise be still and hear whatâs true
You must become a Blessed Fool
Lay down your phone and pray
To the One who never fades awayâ
What an amazing night in Nashville! Thank you to all who came out to support @trulah_ and I. There was praise, there was worship there were trumpet solos and stank face.

What does it look like to be a Christian in this day and age? Be a social media influencer for Jesus? Iâm not so sure thatâs in the cards for me. Maybe being a Christian in this day and age looks like forsaking the technology thatâs tearing us apart and actually living in community. Maybe humans are more important than productivity. Maybe we really are supposed to look different than the world - even foolish. Iâm still figuring things out but whatever the way forward is, it will be worth it for the sake of knowing Jesus.
