Last weekend I got to run 100 miles through the mountains with some of my best friends.
Trail running has been such a gift in this last year and a half. It’s taught me about perseverance, integrity, grit & patience.
Leona Divide was 27 hours of pursuing a goal I’ve had for the last 2 years. It made it so much more special that I got to see that goal through with the help of my wife, my parents & my friends (in truth, I couldn’t have run this race without them).
I told Niki that I’d “retire” after this race, but I fear I may just be getting started…
I knew the day I met her that I wanted to marry Niki. 3 years of dating & 1 whole year of marriage later, and here we are in Cabo celebrating. I’m so grateful.
