For a grassroots global competition like Veo’s People’s Puskas, local coverage combined with social traction was going to be crucial to get people to vote for the best grassroots goal. So our culture and sport team activated a regional press office and social media campaign to gain local support of talented scorers across the country. It was also great to partner with respected voices in the game, including Darren Lewis [ @darrenlewis5 ] President of the Sports Journalists’ Association to underscore the international reach and significance of grassroots initiatives. Congratulations to the top 100, the semi finalists including Kane Harris and Raheem Jabar, and to Billy Tabb from the Republic of Ireland, who scooped this year’s top spot🥇 You can check out the best of the best on the People’s Puskas website.

Coldr x Liverpool City Council We are partnering with Liverpool City Council to support community engagement and communications in the L8 area, as conversations begin around a series of proposals that shape the area’s future. L8 is one of Liverpool’s most diverse and historically rich communities. Meaningful engagement here requires trust, understanding and approaches that reflect the lived experiences of local people. Our role is to work with the Council to ensure these conversations are open, accessible and culturally fluent. Early engagement is already underway as we seek local insight from community leaders. Our community engagement programme will begin in April, creating opportunities for residents, leaders and local businesses to share their views. Our focus includes: ✅ Housing regeneration and the future use of derelict land ✅ Eden Girls’ School Academy ✅ Active travel schemes for safer, greener routes ✅ Parking and traffic management changes We will be listening and supporting constructive dialogue as engagement progresses in the months ahead.
