Year 5 have been enjoying using Crumbles, motors and sparkles, along with their coding skills to create an algorithim which programed their models to move.
Lots of fun to be had during the first week of our holiday camp. There’s been yoga, biscuit making, arts and crafts, sports and many other lovely activities! Don’t forget there are still spaces available for next week. See the attached flyer for details.
What can you do with an old plastic bag? Answer: make some beautiful bunting for your school! On Monday 23rd March, every class from Year 1 to Year 6 took part in our Waste to Wonder day with the North London Waste Authority and the company Looply. The children learnt about the circular economy (reusing natural resources instead of taking more from the Earth) and worked with our partners to create some fabulous bunting that we will use for many years at school. It was a fun and interesting day, and taught us all why we need to use less plastic and avoid single-use plastics. Thank you for supporting this event!
Can you guess who it is? Year 2 Art project - school staff portraits in the style of Yayoi Kusama. Taught by Professional Artist Liga Kitchen and kindly funded by the Friends of Coldfall. Thank you Liga!
Today we welcomed author (and TV star) Alexander Armstrong to Coldfall for a special book event. We all had a wonderful time, thank you for coming! #primaryenglish
The Nursery children enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate around the camp fire yesterday. What a perfect spring day for stories and songs at the fire circle!
