What can the landscape we share reveal to us? In 2020, when the world stood still, my brother and I began making images — asking questions of ourselves, of our time and place. This series offers a glimpse into that dialogue over the course of 3 years — into how we confront our fears, contradictions and desires. A conversation between my brother and I at a time when everything, and nothing, was in motion. With the mirror of our surroundings and each other, we turned inwards. Here, we observed, reflected, and tried to understand our place in the world and how we move through it. The trees swayed, shadows deepened, and we stepped into unknown space. This is for my brother. Poem by Ian Abbot ‘Passing through September’ Design by Ethan Bradshaw & Colm Moore Screen printed cover by Matthew Rich Book handmade by Johnny McMullan Darkroom prints by Camilla Smart Type layout by Megan Edwards Editioned handprint by Colm Moore My deepest thanks to all my friends and family for the support.
