Creating with intention and enjoying the process has become my priority when making music.
I’ve really changed my approach to making music recently, not forcing it, taking breaks and going into a session with intention.
I went into this session wanting to create a real thumpin ‘headsy’ club record with a punchy ‘bom bom’ top bass. I’m super happy with how it came out.
Truth is, I’ve not even sat down to make a track for a couple of weeks, because reality is, I’ve just not felt like it and that’s fine. Time is valuable and there’s no point getting caught up in a session when you don’t feel creative. Think about what you’re doing and WHY you’re doing it.
Take your time. Create with intention.
