From soft opening to Grand Opening 🌹

The California Community Foundation is proud to support @coffeewithacause : a nonprofit providing job training and real career pathways to young Angelenos coming out of foster care, homelessness, and the justice system.
With funding from CCF, @LAEDC , and California Jobs First, their @rosebudcoffee just opened a second location (in Highland Park!) offering delicious coffee for all and paid career training for young adults in LA County.
For many participants, the program is more than a job. It's where they build their first resume, develop communication and leadership skills, gain financial independence, and start believing in their futures.

We’re proud to share that one of our Coffee With A Cause former trainees, Vanessa, found a position at Starbucks-Albertsons and is doing great. After completing our soft skills workshops, Vanessa stepped into her new role with strong customer service skills. We are so excited for her continued growth in this new chapter.

Doggy Day Care 🐾
Frida is interning at Dogtopia Doggy Care learning about playing and caring for dogs. She remembers having a dog when she was small and was intrigued by the internship opportunity.
Her time at the dog care site is teaching her responsibility and piqued her interest in a possible future in dog grooming.
