This month I was given the opportunity to shoot a @holymolly.guacamolly concert, as part of the “She’s in Control” series of concerts organised by @womeninmusic.romania in @clubcontrol . I have to say, I’ve been a metalhead for more than 12 years and this was one concert I didn’t expect to headbang at. But I did.
Of unexpectedly cool actions I cover
Romanian president Nicusor Dan comes out to discuss with protesters manifesting against the proposals for leading positions in Romania’s justice system. The proposals are of people that are deemed unfit for the leading positions as they are considered to have ties with corrupt political parties.
Unredacted AI free thoughts of whatever the hell is going on nowadays
Normalcy died some time ago and with it our old way of living. Between starting work on our next goal before celebrating reaching the former, a 9-5 for us to afford our passions, and trying to keep up with our somewhat healthy habits, the world as we know it is falling apart. Every day adds to an unending catalog of breaking news and headlines that shake whatever was left of the equilibrium of yesterday and we wait for a time of With historical events.
It’s a struggle. It’s hard to start working on anything if you feel it’s for nothing because some old white men will start some crap that will force you to leave everything behind. Historically, when many people felt the same about something, they got together. Nowadays, even if many of us share these feelings, we’re struggling to feel connected. AI slop, food slop, content slop, conversation slop. Just.. slop. Noise. And I know the only way to rid ourselves of this aching feeling is to get rid of the slop, stop engaging with it, but oh my it seems impossible. Above, just a collection of work from several facets of society that coexist in my universe. And maybe in yours, too.
- [ ] I kinda quit new year resolutions last year after I realised that 90% of them become irrelevant by March. - [ ] Life always has ways of surprising us and not necessarily within our control. And all the stress that comes with saving and planning for the later in life has no value if we don’t reach the later in life because of said stress. - [ ] So I try hard to live in the present too. Even enjoy it if I feel spicy. By doing things I like. - [ ] The productivity machine is failing. I am not a resource, I am a human.
@recorder.ro ‘s reportage got everyone in the streets today.

It is not worth your health.
Whatever it is you are working on, unless it brings you more health. It’s not worth you struggling beyond your limits for extended periods of time. It’s not worth being chronically stressed over it, losing sleep over it, eating junk because of it.
Sure, we have goals, we have absolutes we strive to reach; even parents to make proud whether we like to accept it or not. As long as we can attach a meaning to our struggle, we’ll probably push through it and live to work another day.
What I wish is that you get there without regretting you lost a part of yourself in the process. Find your balance. Take your breaks. You are more than the results of your work.

That little speckle of dust, smaller than a pixel, on the right side of the photo, is us. Our planet. That’s what it looks like from 6 billion kilometers away. That’s where your struggle happens. You are more than the results of your work.

Talk. Talk about your feelings. Escapism will only feed your hurt.
Things that happen at the opening of the largest orthodox cathedral in the world.
Thousands of people, a big majority of which were old, looking at screens in the October weather, in front of the cathedral.
The same people, waiting for 9 hours in a queue to see the inside of the cathedral, ripping through the riot police fences several times in the process.
At least they got some sandwiches.
It does not feel like relief, it feels like not much has changed.
