I don’t think it’s a secret that I have a huge passion for creating videos (just take a look at that Reel’s tab if you’ve missed the explosion since last fall). And before I could voice the desire for it to become something more, a sweet soul reached out to see if I could capture her wedding day with *only* the cool cameras, I said…okay Universe, I hear you, loud and clear.
And so, The Daydreamer was born. ✨
In a world that lands somewhere between traditional videography coverage and content creation, where the Daydreamers live. A collection of wedding videos that feel like a memory straight out of the camera. Shot ONLY on vintage/vintage inspired cameras, this is a true Wedding Day Home Movie. A nostalgic highlight reel of your day, through the eyes of the feeler of all feelers, yours truly.
My first love will always be photography, and she isn’t going anywhere, but I’ve always thrived on a side quest, especially when the passion burns there already. And like I said, this is clearly the Universe calling, and she’s my ride or die, so here we go ✨

This may be the strangest “time to book your session” post, so bear with me…
Is anybody else feeling like a little bit of a fraud lately or is it just me? Like, what are we even doing? The ball of life keeps rolling, rolling, rolling, we try and carry on but the world is burning around us, prices for everything have never been higher…and I have been asking myself, should I even be asking for my clients investment and time this year? I care about my people so dang much, so how can I remind them that I’m still here with my camera without making it seem like I’m living in a creative fantasy land where everything is still okay and we can go on as normal…
I don’t often talk heavy topics politically on this platform, though trust I have a great many opinions…but being a woman in this world is innately political, so it doesn’t feel right to glaze over it completely as it’s written into the fabric of my identity. And as a female business owner with a little bit of platform, even more so. So please trust me when I say, I see what is happening, I feel it all, and I am not naive to what my communities and the communities I care about are going through. I am so very aware that things are not normal right now. Hence, the dilemma.
And yet, as I wracked my brain on how to move forward, I remembered…it’s always been art. Art is the ultimate healer. In times of strife, art booms in all forms as humans try and grapple with what is happening around them.
So, I settled on this olive branch—-let’s hug a little tighter this year when we see each other, and let’s still show up. Me with my heart, and you with your love. Together, we can carve out a little hope in the sky of every golden hour from May to November—-we can help heal where we are able to, right here at home. A little rebellion, if you will, against the heavy weight we are all carrying right now.
It is with my heart in my hands that I say—-my books are wide open, friends. Bring me your families, to the lake, a field, your backyard, truly anywhere, I am so ready. I will be offering payment plans + other solutions this year as well if needed. 🫶🏻
My absolute favorite trend in the wedding industry right now is short planning periods. We just booked in two more amazing couples for 2026 and I love that love feels like an explosion of authenticity again—where humans are so in love that they plan their day for the soonest possible moment, not wanting to wait any longer to start their forever. 💫
My own fam usually gets the short end of the stick—free photos but you might wait 1000 years till I can edit them—but when I finally get to dote on them…oh how I cherish these souls. As you can tell ✨💫
