18 loop down, 30 loops to go! It is really amazing what a little bit of layer will do for the animation. It really gives the #3dillusion without it actually being in 3D (and with much less rendering power). Stacked offset layers of greyscale and white layered on top of each other. 7 loop down, 41 loops to go! It would have been relatively easy to librariespackages for Hierarchical Edge Bundling with Python or even JavaScript, but in this case, I took it upon myself to figure out a way to mimic that similar concept through basic math and geometry. It was a refreshing look (and struggle) to do it in that method as it makes it so much easier to fine tune the small details of the resultant structure. In this one the visuals come ever closer to the typical Hierarchical Edge Bundling that most might have seen in #datavisualization Still trying to work out some kinks in the control points of the curves due to using Beziers.

Re-exploring the basic coding of #javascript and some #artxcode by mapping collected light intensity to stroke weight and either connected to the other points at random or to each and every other point. Thought that after using all the other methods and experimenting with Blender and Geometry Nodes, it might be good to go back to the fundamentals and experiment and see what I might have missed!

More experiments with light in #javascript , Canvas Sketch. Using some offsets to create this contour-like walk. With the slight changes in stroke width, you get the illusion of depth and a really trippy scene. What do you think?
