Trust us?
We have a whole host of amazing acts to announce for next year’s StrangeForms Festival (the 10th edition!) but we’re going to tease it out for a little while longer. In the meantime, you can grab yourself a ticket to ensure you don’t miss out. Just £35 for the full weekend. Are we crazy? I should coco!
Enjoy these shots of previous headliners playing the festival. 🖤
How did I become so awful at keeping this up to date? Here’s the 25th episode of Rusted Satellites that was originally broadcast from way back when 12/02/2022.
Thank you @twoandtwoisfive_music (aka my new co-host @braden_buhler ) for writing the theme music! Check them out and support local music! <3
Enjoy!

Gang! I recently got to chat all about myself with the Lovely Fellas (™️) from @codesclouds as part of their superb podcast series, The Paper Crane.
Previous guests have included Rival Consoles, Isy Suttie, and Katie Tavini, so yes, you’re right, they might be scraping the barrel a bit with me now.
I haven’t listened back to it yet, but I’m pretty sure I remember talking a lot about what it’s like being brown in this industry and country, what my rules are for doing session work, and probably some other things too. I also laughed a lot, cos it was a fun time.
I recorded my end of the conversation for this podcast when I was in Bath/Bristol for gigs, staying in my friends’ spare room, so swipe for the most ramshackle, impromptu, and uncomfortable podcast studio ever made.

V good to talk to the codesclouds' lads about music for an hour or so! We really ran the gamut - from the Ivors panel to my 2005 #edfringe show…
Have a listen to my ep of #ThePaperCrane pod (and go back through the archives as well while you're there - loads of good stuff.) Link in bio ⬆️
Our clever lad @aattajoe interviewed the amazing Isy Suttie (or Dobby from Peep Show) and discussed autobiographical writing, mentioning our song ‘Faliraki’!

honoured to be releasing ‘For Those We Lost’ today. it’s a compilation curated by @floralis_lc & @lowlivescollective to raise funds for @medicalaidpal .
‘Following the continual displacement of Palestinian people and the severe conditions many in Gaza are forced to live under, we put together a small compilation in order to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians. Each of these tracks are either originals or rare tracks by each of these artists, showcasing some of the best stuff we have heard in the alternative music space.
Given the lack of diversity that we continue to see in the alternative music space, Floralis and DJ Priya made it their mission to recruit musicians of colour and LGBTQ+ acts for this compilation album. Alongside initiatives such as Daytimers, Weirdo Magazine, Diversify Your Scene and Decolonise Festival, this compilation serves as a testament towards radical inclusivity in the music scene.’

Happy New Year to everyone,
With 2022 marking the 10th Anniversary since the release of my album Folding Leaves, I am so so happy to finally announce a project I've been planning in my head for such a long time, Folding Leaves Reworked.
I am incredibly grateful to have 9 incredible artists, friends old and new who have exquisitely reimagined the original album into something fresh and otherworldly.
The first single will be @levipatel 's stunning take on 'Wake Me', dropping this Friday. There is a pre-save link for this in my bio.
The full Reworks album releases 25th February 💛
Featuring:
Worriedaboutsatan
Levi Patel
Arms and Sleepers
Slow Meadow
The American Dollar
Tom Adams
Codes in the Clouds
Alex Somers
Will Samson
So much gratitude to everyone who has supported my music for the past 10 years (and longer) it is thanks to you that I am still able to dedicate myself to making music today.
Much love,
Jerome
Things I love: @lowtheband and Christmas. Obviously talking to Alan about one of my favourite Christmas albums was a dream. Subscribe to #ThePaperCrane wherever you get your podcasts!
