Congratulations to COD Architecture students Lily Vazquez, Kaelah Kittana, Alicia Biel, Nico Novoa, and Emmanual Mamo who attended the AIAspire Student Leadership Conference this past weekend hosted by AIA Illinois. These student leaders are the future of our profession!
Today we hosted the largest IDEA regional drafting contest we have had in many years at COD. Congratulations to the 115 students from 6 area high schools who competed in 10 different drafting competitions. Thank you to all of our guest Judges, COD student volunteers, and many others who helped make this event go smoothly. Special shout out our program support specialist Kayla Kurtzweil, to the Interior Design department for relocating classes, and to the Manufacturing department for lending us CAD labs.
