The dish I turn to whenever I need a pick me up. Pastina. But this one is special as it’s made with fresh pasta which I have never done before in this. I also used a shot of tomato extract and it gave the dish a lightness that I loved. But really no matter how you make pastina, it’s gonna make you feel good #cooking #dinner #eating

The perfect Spring Frittata does exist. Full of fresh herbs and vegetables, it’s delicious and easy to make yet looks like a masterpiece. I love this as it can be served hot or cold which means it’s perfect for making ahead #cooking #dinner #eating

I wait all year for tomatoes to come back into season in Southern California. This is Pane e Pommodoro and it’s so simple it’s almost barely a recipe. But because it’s so simple you have to use the best of everything. The second the first good tomatoes hit my farmers market I am making this. It’s the perfect light lunch or I am also serving this as an appetizer for a dinner party. Everyone loves it #cooking #dinner #eating

I will never not feel lucky to have year round farmers markets in Southern California. This one just opened up around the corner from my house and it’s fantastic. I especially love going there if I am ever in a creative slump. From gorgeous produce to fresh pasta and the best eggs ever. This one is the new one in Newport Beach off Dover Drive #cooking #eating #dinner

California gets its fair share of hate. But the produce does NOT suck. From the Saturday Farmers market off Dover Drive #cooking #eating #homecooking

One of my favorite things about Eggs in a Cup is sharing it. Probably more than anything I have ever posted when I see people they tell me they now make eggs in a cup everyday for either themselves or their families. It’s so simple but deeply comforting and delicious. I wish this was on the menu of every cafe. Since I first posted it I have since learned it’s eaten in many places in the world. But only ever at home. If you haven’t tried them, now is your time #cooking #eating #breakfast

The KFC chicken pot pie is elite. Not just for fast food but for any food. It’s legit one of my top 3 chicken pot pies. #dinner #eating @kfc

How have I never made this French sauce before, Soubise? There are a few methods for making this. This one and the bechamel version which of course I will try as well. But this was just so easy. 2 main ingredients and you can serve this with so many things: pork, chicken, fish, vegetables… I mean I would drink it. Whole things takes less than 30 minutes but it feels dinner party special #cooking #dinner #eating

Making my simple tomato pasta but taking it up a notch with the Made In saucier pan. This pan is a restaurant quality piece of kitchenware that is also perfectly at home in your kitchen. The rounded edges means nothing gets stuck in the corners and I love the weight of it. I can move things around and flip it without hurting my wrist. The pans are made of 5 ply stainless steel giving me perfect heat conduction and are just so easy to use. For this pasta I added cubed mozzarella at the end and it turned it into a beautifully cheesy dinner that everyone loved. Pan in linked in my bio #madeinpartner #dinner #cooking

My first time having an artichoke parmigiana was in Puglia and it was amazing. This is a slightly dryer version and I love it as they stay crispy. A perfect way to celebrate artichoke season #cooking #dinner #eating

I ate this dish 3x on my week long trip to Puglia and it was just so delicious. I had never seen Cacio e Pepe with pancetta in it until now and it might be my favorite version. It’s salty, creamy and perfectly cheesy. This was a winner #cooking #dinner #eating

This is my favorite soup when I eat out at my favorite Japanese restaurant. It’s an oxtail soup cooked super slow and low that yields the most incredible and flavorful broth. The broth stays super clear and clean and the meat melts on your mouth. I crave this after traveling as I crave Asian food and just want to eat something light after overindulging for a week. I could eat this every day #cooking #dinner #eating
