Update on Malu and I returning home.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported by sharing, financial contributions and connections.
Itās hard to articulate how much it meant to all of us and they say that a picture paints a thousand wordsā¦so luckily, Iām a photographer ;)
I hope you love the photos of what we all created together. š
To make a change takes just one person.
If you feel inspired by this and would love to contribute further you can purchase a pair of our beautiful organic dungarees which financially support both the artisanal makers and our projects, or make a direct donation, share this post and/or share any connections with me that you feel can support me to really expand the impact of this non profit.
Our next projects are:
ā¢ā ā helping single Mothers with disabled children afford schooling and care, focused in Bangalore.
ā¢ā ā Action against domestic violence and getting victims justice in devastating circumstances, across the UK and India.
A huge Thank you once again from the bottom of mine and Maluās hearts.
Itās so inspiring to know people who are willing to be part of impacting change in this world.
šø Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure to shoot Tom Daley at the first screening of his new documentary. It was raw, vulnerable and truly beautiful.
What a strong guy. What incredible filmmaking š¬ 1.6 Seconds
Meet Tanvi. By day, sheās out running a coffee and pepper estate, and come the weekend, sheās saving animals in her local community, even known at the local petrol station as the animal whisperer. Youāll catch her driving to the estate with Jam Toast blasting on the stereo and one of her many dogs, Shelby, riding shotgun like they own the place. Tanviās one of those rare, genuinely kind souls who always puts others first. If we all took a page out of her book, the world would be a better place. Be more Tanvi šø
Sorry, but how was this a whole 2 years ago??!! Where does the time go!!! š³
After 42 days, 7 hours, and 18 minutes, we finished the @worlds.toughest.row across the Atlantic Ocean, and became the first female team to win the Murden Cup š
Letās not forget the 600+ miles we cycled to get to the start line š² šØ
Looking back, I think the biggest takeaway is just how much we transformed through the experience. 3 of us werenāt rowers before this, never even considered it, but the challenge factor was what drew us in.
If we hadnāt pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones, I truly believe weād be very different people today. The lessons learned from over the 2 year campaign, let alone 40 days at sea are ones Iāll carry with me forever. And that sense of achievement? Unforgettable.
So, whatās next, girls? Letās keep pushing boundaries.
