Our principal @chrisblundellmakeupandhair sits down with graduate and trainee @coco.makeup.fx to chat about a key skill every MUA trainee needs, driving. 🚗✨ From early morning calls at 3am to locations that aren’t easily accessible by public transport, driving is often a must. Coco shares how she overcame her driving anxiety and passed her test with the support of Christine and the team. She’s proof that perseverance pays off, and as a trainee, being able to drive can open doors to so many opportunities! Throwback to my CBMA Bootcamp Dec 2023 Beetlejuice Beetlejuice afterlife Look 🪲🧃 - Death by baby sharks!!! (1hr15 timed conditions) Model: @evadischmua Photographer: @pete_ray I Used a lot of blue Kryolan Aquacolor and a body painting brush that was sacrificed to the cause. This was painted on after I applied 7 bondos over different parts of the body and face. Hair was wetted down with sand applied after and blood was added as the last step…. Then the blow up shark (mother of the baby ones) to top it off! My self-review: The baby sharks were glued on with telesis which proved difficult as they couldn’t stick on quick enough and didn’t mix well with the body paint - led to lots of them pinging off and swimming away 😂😂 (in hindsight I would’ve pre attached them to the bondos and let them properly set) Due to the timed conditions I didn’t have as much time to do as much of the face details as I wanted especially on the eyes but the googles were very helpful with that! Special Thankyou to Eva for letting me go all out and for going through that very tedious derig afterwards! 😂🙌🫶
