As we wrap up our 2025 season, we want to take a moment to reflect and recognize the growth of this team. With 25 kids and only 7 returning Tustin Cobras, this was a brand-new group filled with many first-time tackle football players learning the game from the ground up. Despite being one of the youngest rosters in our division, these boys showed heart, discipline, and steady progress all year. Thank you to all the families for your support.
This weekend, we honored several players for their effort, development, and impact.
Our Co-MVPs set the standard daily. Both finished top three in total offensive yards and top two in combined tackles. They worked, competed, and elevated the team in every phase.
Our Offensive Player of the Year, Osborn, was a spark all season. In his first year, he delivered big plays and dependable production, becoming a consistent difference-maker for our offense.
Our Defensive Players of the Year each led in a major category. Ortega led the team in total tackles. Amasio led in tackles for loss. Marshbanks led in turnovers. Their effort and discipline shaped our defensive identity.
Our offensive linemen of the year, Arreguin and Garcia, anchored the front. Arreguinās leadership and reliability at center kept the offense steady. Garciaās physicality and energy lifted his teammates every week.
Most Improved went to Burns and Ellisscott, two players who grew tremendously. Their effort earned them more reps and increased roles as the season went on.
Our Coaches Award recipients, Camarena, Chun, and Wright, showed hard work, consistency, and character. All first-year Cobras who embraced coaching, battled daily, and earned their colors through effort and accountability.
Lastly, we honored Matthew Torres with the Ashley Stephens Award. This award represents integrity, leadership, and doing things the right way on and off the field. It is the highest character award in our program. Matthew earned it through his humility, work ethic, and the example he set for his teammates every single day.
We are proud of this group who built the foundation for the future, and their growth this season shows who they are becoming. The standard is set.
Final game of the season.
Our boys are looking to end the season the same way they started. Letās go get it done.

Before the year started we had one goal. Grow and compete.
These boys have battled all year and we are beyond proud of them. With a fresh group they continue to grow their chemistry and develop their own skills.
One thing was clear though we had a team full of heart and we wanted these boys to come together and make the most out of every single opportunity. Win, Lose or Draw, we promised to do it together, every single time.
We are planting seeds and we have a lot of fight left. The future is bright. We will be back. Until then, we plan to finish our season the only way we know how, the Cobras way. š
See you tomorrow.
