Had the absolute pleasure of doing some product testing last week of something very special indeed.
The incredible folk over at @cobblelanecured (purveyors of the finest charcuterie you’ll ever have excite your tastebuds) have produced a first in the UK … a cupping pepperoni. 🔥 Ladies and gentleman for your delectation, may I introduce C-Cups.
The results are in and what you get is oil and flavour harvesting little bowls that are an elite level up on any previous flat pepp disappointments. Flavour wise there have a subtle smoky vibe and tang. This is the REAL DEAL. 🫡
Shown here on our signature Detroit but the good news #burystedmunds this is going straight on our menu and will be available on our new Sicilian pies in the next few weeks at @hopstersbse . 👀

They've been working on a pepperoni that pops up into little cups when it cooks, winking at you with a pool of delicious pepperoni oil, and it hits the spot with our award winning cheeky pineapple with pineapple jam made in house and fresh jalapenos on a base of tomato and mozzarella. Been using these cobble cups down at Bethnal since we opened back in August. Been hunting for roni cups since our first trip to NYC, and this stuff really hits the spot. Proper oil collectors. Big bonus that it’s all made down the road at their butchery in Islington 🤌🤌
Here they are in all their glory on a crispy Sicilian Pie with vodka sauce, candied jalapeños & hot honey. **Square pizzas only served on Friday/Saturday at the shop.
