Stop being scared of the scales. The number isn’t there to shame you, it’s there to give you feedback. If stepping on the scales makes you anxious because you know you’ve gained weight, that’s probably when it’s MOST important to do it. Learn to hold yourself accountable instead of avoiding reality. One weigh-in won’t change your body. But ignoring the problem won’t fix it either. And if the number triggers an emotional reaction… that’s usually a sign something needs to change.
