Sometimes we’re afraid to express ourselves in fear that people might not like who we are. We play it safe and watch our every step in public. Trying to fit in to be accepted. Well… the truth is some people will always find a reason to dislike you, so there’s no point in even attempting to please everyone. Lately, I’ve challenged myself to show who I really am, to act goofy, to show everyone what my interests are no matter who follows me. And It feels pretty great. I just wanted to share this video I remastered of Lorena Valenzuela, a talented Mexican dancer whose art speaks volumes. As a Mexican myself, this is a reminder of the power we hold through culture, expression, and love.
It’s not about ignoring what’s going on… but about finding deeper meaning and connection through it.
We need that now more than ever.
