Jon Spencer è una figura di riferimento della scena rock alternativa internazionale, celebre per la sua energia travolgente e per uno stile che fonde garage rock, punk e blues in modo unico e viscerale. Attivo sin dagli anni ’80, ha saputo imporsi come uno degli artisti più influenti dell’underground americano ed europeo.
Frontman della leggendaria Jon Spencer Blues Explosion e già membro dei seminali Pussy Galore, Spencer ha costruito una carriera fatta di suoni grezzi, sperimentazione e performance dal vivo incendiarie, capaci di lasciare un segno indelebile nel pubblico.

Jon Spencer is back in Nottingham to play the hits with the unbelievable rhythm section of Kendal & Macky, previously of the Bobby Lees.
Jon Spencer has been an influential and innovative force in the independent music scene since the mid-80s. An acclaimed live performer, he has toured all the continents except Antarctica and has released over 25 albums.
Jon is the creator of fierce punk-influenced music that encompasses everything from American roots styles such as Hill-Country Blues and Rockabilly to Industrial Noise and Hip-Hop.
He has led the bands Pussy Galore, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Heavy Trash, and Jon Spencer & the HITmakers as well as played in Boss Hog, The Honeymoon Killers, The Gibson Brothers, and Taxi Girls.
plus support from TOTAL LUCK. We've been trying to get Birmingham's Total Luck to play in Nottingham for ages! Combining the minimalism and harshness of no-wave with the fast and chaotic thrash of hardcore. Remind me at times of a less frenetic Wolves! of Greece which is obviously high praise.
