Introducing '$afety Deposit Box' by Good New$ Bank (@cmthring & @nicholashanisch ) a playful, thought-provoking installation transforming Bentham Street Gallery into transparent safety deposit boxes.
Stacks of cash. Diamond rings. Hidden symbols. Inside the shine and spectacle lies a deeper question: what do we really treasure? This work explores the tension between outward displays of wealth and the quiet, sentimental objects that truly matter.
✨ Scan the QR code at the exhibition to answer: “What would you deposit in a safety deposit box?” Your response will become part of a growing, community-driven archive — a collective snapshot of what we value and why.
Driven by optimism over cynicism, Good New$ Bank invites us to imagine new ways of measuring worth — where meaning, sentimentality, and “good news” might just outweigh material riches.

‘Clayful’ is a celebration of the playful & practical nature of ceramics. The pieces are decorative, functional, wild & contained, whimsical, bright and also subtle.
The exhibiting artists include artists & alumni from the Jam Factory Associate Program in the Ceramics Studio as well as ceramicists from across the country.

12 months ago I was in Japan @studiokura thinking about beauty and elusiveness.
The month at Itoshima with @suepent and other amazing artists was a dream.

Join @rosinapossingham and me on Wednesday 29 January for a one-day Cyanotype workshop at Adelaide Central School of Art.
We will teach you how to prepare paper and fabric, construct negatives from a variety of media, and develop the prints using the sun and a light box. A short presentation of how we use this process in our own practices and the history of cyanotype printing will be included. Participants are encouraged to bring along any objects or plants to print with, as well as their own lunch, closed in shoes and an apron please. All materials, paper, chemicals, brushes etc will be provided.
