Inspired by the countries of mi padres š¬š¹+šš³ and the beautiful birds of those countries @rosieontheriverbed created this beautiful design. From there Oliver @darkmatterfinishing put paint to frame and brought to life Rosieās work. @hsalcedo14 was integral in helping me aquire all of the @sramroad pieces i needed along with @incyclebicycles . Talk about a #throwbackthursday. On Friday Oct 11 @formulafixed is gathering a bunch of talented fixie fools to compete with and for each other. It was the #trackbike that gave me my start in cycling both as a competitive sport and a career. From bopping around NYC (yuuuurrrrr!) delivering all sorts of nonsense to kissena, to red hook and beyond. Things were crazy, things were wild and things were fun. So many friends were made along the way. Iām in a different place now. Iāve found a new place to be wild in the dirt (and air) and met new people to do it with. However, it all started with fixies and that community. I love you all even if we havenāt seen each other for years ā¤ļøšš¤. Nowā¦ lets go race ššš
Because my new bike for 2024 has an integrated bar and stem, I wanted to get a pre-fit before submitting the order.
Several friends and riders I respect recommended Carla @cmnorthy , and she lived up to the hype! Not only did she get my fit dialed in using the @retul_technology MĆ¼ve bike, but she also made custom insoles, which have somehow made my @quocshoes even more comfortable. Immediately I noticed improvements in my knee tracking and power transfer. Embarrassingly, I had my cleats pointing the wrong way, and I was getting a lot of pressure on the outside of my right foot. The adjusted cleat position felt strange at first, but after a few minutes, I was shocked by how secure my pedal stroke felt. I also gained about 30w... but that was because I forgot to calibrate my power meter when I put the pedals back on my bike š

I have been racing since 2019. Almost always on my own or just working with someone on the day. My first opportunity to be on a team was disrupted by the pandemic. So to say that I have been stoked on this @wearepwr.racing team is a bit of an understatement. All of the women of pwr are amazing, strong and beautiful but especially our fearless leaders @rema_loves_bikes and @deleincolor . They came to me with a real vision for what they wanted: a team built by women for women. They pitched me when I didnāt need to be pitched and now the results have been coming for us. We are just getting started and thank you to all my ladies @_rebecca_n@quinteros_erika_ and all of the women of PWR. Lets really get it!
