@nickelarooney Is an INCREDIBLE Librarian that is working hard to educate her students by creating diverse and inclusive spaces by curating a library equipped with all stories! During Read across America week, she wanted to give her students an experience so she made a call and I got the pleasure of educating her kids on West African instruments, African dancing, and song! What a great way to spend a couple of days this week! Nikela is the real deal!!!! #supportoureducators
November 18 will always be a day I honor a man whose presence left an indelible mark on my life, heart, and soul. Asher, was the kind of person who lit up a room simply by being in it. His laughter had a rhythm to it. His gentle touch could calm storms raging inside of you. He was a sounding board to all who needed it , and his wisdom was far beyond his years.
Ashie was my BEST friend, my FIRST love, and the first person to truly SEE me. He inspired me to dream bigger, love deeper, and fight harder, undeniably shaping my humanity and the importance of its impact on the greater world.
His legacy vibrates in every corner of my existence. I see him in the way I chase my passions or uplift others. He continues to exist in every smile I share, every laugh I give, and every tear I shed.
What a legacy - to have that kind of impact so early on… It speaks volumes of his remarkable character.
Rest well, my dear. Your story is eternal. Your impact on our lives immeasurable. I will honor you by continuing to live fully and love deeply—just as you taught me.
Forever your Lucy , Charlie Brown….
